Parts of Mahim on Mumbai’s western line were flooded after a water pipe burst on Saturday, 10th March. The burst occurred during excavation work carried out in the area. It took 30 workers nine hours to repair the leak in the 80-year-old pipeline which disrupted water supply to south Mumbai and resulted in a huge amount of water being lost.
