Lexar Announces High End Memory Cards at photokina 2016
Lexar recently introduced 256GB high-performance 633x microSDXC UHS-I (U3) Card that is designed for action cameras, drones, sports camcorders, tablets and smartphones, this microSD card can record about 9 hours of 4K video, has read transfer speed of up to 95MB per second and can capture more than 36 hours of HD video, 67,600 photos, or 58,100 songs.
With a ‘works with GoPro’ certification attached, the 256GB high-performance 633x microSDXC UHS-I (U3) Card will be out in the market soon, and is expected to retail for USD 275 (approx. Rs. 18,500).
Apart from the high-performance line, the company also launched its high endurance microSD series that is purposely made smaller and slower, using old memory technology, lower density, and higher reliability. With a read speed of 40MB per second, these cards meet the video recording requirement of Class 10 and U1. Available in both 32GB and 64GB size, these high endurance microSD cards are suitable for home security cameras, dash cams, and other “always-on” devices. The 64GB version claims to handle 12,000 hours of 1080p video at 26 megabits per second over its lifetime.
The 32GB and 64GB High-Endurance cards are available now for USD 25 (approx. Rs. 1680) and USD 40 (approx.
