The X100T is Here!

The new Fujifilm X100T

The new Fujifilm X100T

The successor of the much-loved Fujifilm X100S is here, and is making us very happy. The X100T is the new kid on the block, with some very cool features, most significant of them all is the hybrid viewfinder system, which has further improved with this iteration. Of course, it continues the X series tradition of vintage looks, and the X100T is a beauty, by all means.

The hybrid viewfinder on the X100 series allows you to shift between electronic and optical viewfinder, which has had an evolution in the X100T. An electronic rangefinder has been added to the bottom right corner of the optical view, for further precision. Real-time parallax correction has also been added to the mix.

At the heart of it, the X100T is shares several key features of the X100S, including the 16MP CMOS sensor with X-Trans colour filter array and the superior 23mm f/2 lens. Other features include built-in WiFi with remote control function, built-in intravalometer and 1080p movies at 60, 50, 30, 25 and 24fps. The X100T also gains a fully electronic shutter mode which increases the maximum shutterspeed to 1/32000sec.

The X100T will go on sale in November and is priced at USD 1299.95 (approx. Rs. 80,000). The Indian prices and availability has not been announced yet.
