Schneider-Kreuznach had many new product announcements to make at Photokina 2014. Their roster included three lenses for full frame DSLRs, cine lenses and filters.

The Xenon 35mm f/1.6, the Xenon 50mm f/1.4 and the Macro Symmar 85mm f/2.4 are the new lenses. They will all be available for Canon EOS and Nikon F systems. Xenon FF Prime lenses have especially been developed for shooting videos on 4k full-frame DSLRs. The prime lenses will be available with focal lengths of T2.1/25mm, T2.1/35mm, T2.1/50mm, T2.1/75mm and T2.1/100mm. The lenses are color matched to ensure consistent colors, thus reducing corrections during postproduction.

Schneider filters from the B+W range

Schneider-Kreuznach is also offering special filter systems for filming. The MRC nano coating make the surface of the filters water-repellent. Their new B+W SELECT filter are also part of this range and they include gray,polarizing, graduated as well as infrared filters. The sheet filters in the filter rangecan be used with matte boxes measuring 4 x 4, 4 x 4.65 and 6 x 6 inches.
