Xiaomi’s 16000mAh and 5000mAh Mi Power Banks Debut in India
Xiaomi India, via its Facebook page on last Thursday, announced the launch of its two new portable chargers. The Xiaomi 16000mAh Mi Power Bank (Rs. 1399) and Xiaomi 5000mAh Mi Power Bank (Rs. 699) will go on for sale from 9 June 2015.
The company launched its 16000mAh power bank in China in November 2014. However, prior to its India launch, the 5000mAh Mi power bank were made available for sale in US, UK, France, and Germany by the company earlier this month, via its Mi.com portal.
The anodised aluminium shell of these power banks offers stronger surface resistance to fading, wear, and corrosion.
Equipped with two USB 2.0 ports for output, the 16000mAh power bank gives maximum dual output of 5.1V/3.6A. It has one micro USB port for input. The Mi power bank can automatically adjust its output level based on the connected device. Weighing 350 grams, this portable charger offers a conversion rate of 93 percent. The 16000mAh Mi power bank can offer 3.5 full charges for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G (3100mAh).
The 5000mAh power bank comes with one USb2.0 port (output) and one micro USB port (input). Weighing 156 grams, this portable charger can offer 5.1V/2.1A single output. It can offer one full charge to Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, and 1.8 full charges for iPhone 6.
