Transcend Launches JetFlash 890S with USB Type-C and USB 3.1 Interface

Transcend has released the dual-access JetFlash 890S OTG Flash Drive, featuring USB 3.1 Type-A connector on one end and USB 3.1 Type-C on the other. According to the company, the new flash drive will allow users a quick transfer of images and videos captured through smatphones.

The JetFlash 890S comes in storage capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Based on the Chip on Board packaging technology, the flash drive features a cap, which is designed to fit in with both ends of the connectors.

“Combining two interfaces into one flash drive of up to 64GB, the JetFlash 890S allows users to move or copy files to and from their device’s memory card via a steady USB connection that is faster and more reliable than WiFi, Bluetooth and mobile internet,” notes the company.

The company is yet to announce the pricing details of the flash drive.
