TIPA World Awards 2021 Bestowed to Asus

The Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) unveiled its winners on 20 May in Madrid, Spain. Asus was one of the 40 category winners of the prestigious awards, which is presented to the very best photo and imaging products launched in the previous year. The TIPA General Assembly consists of 26 member magazines from around the world. Of them, Better Photography, the only Indian member of TIPA, was represented by Shridhar Kunte, Deputy Editor—Technical.

Best Imaging Computer: Asus ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX582)

Laptop computers have evolved to incorporate the latest technology in their image processing flexibility and capability. The Asus ZenBook’s 15.6-inch display is a 4K touchscreen with an OLED display. There is also a secondary 14-inch ScreenPad that automatically tilts up to 9.5° and provides access to ScreenPad Plus optimised apps. It offers four types of control, including a Dial, Button, Slider and Scroll, all accessed using the App Switcher to launch an app, thus providing a multi-window experience via the full-width touchpad. The Control Panel works with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro and After Effects. An included second generation, pressure-sensitive active stylus and pad add even more creative options. The main screen has a 4K OLED HDR NanoEdge display for deep blacks and vivid colours with up to 32GB of memory and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 laptop graphics.
