Tamron Releases Three New Lenses
Tamron has launched three new lenses— 28–300mm f/3.5-6.3 DI VC PZD, 18–200mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III VC, 14–150mm f/3.5-5.8 Di III for full-frame DSLRs, Canon’s M mount and Micro-Four Thirds cameras. All three lenses are set to be launched worldwide on 26 June.
14–150mm f/3.5-5.8 Di III
Tamron’s 14–150mm f/3.5-5.8 Di III is the company’s first all-in-one zoom for MFTs cameras—Olympus and Panasonic. The lens gives a 28–300mm equivalent.
Although it was originally announced with VC earlier this year in Feb, the VC has since been removed. The lens has one LD (Low Dispersion) glass element, two AD (Anomalous Dispersion) glass elements, two Molded-Glass Aspherical elements and one Hybrid Aspherical element. It measures 80.4mm and weighs 285g. The lens is priced at USD 590 (approx. Rs. 35,500). The Indian pricing is yet to be announced
18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III VC
The 18–200mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III VC (27–300mm equivalent) lens for Canon’s M mount, which comes equipped with VC and weighs 460g. While the pricing for the Canon is yet to be announced, the existing Sony version is priced at Rs. 52,500.
28–300mm f/3.5-6.3 DI VC PZD
The 28–300mm f/3.5-6.3 DI VC PZD is made for full-frame DSLRs. The lens has four LD glass elements, three Molded-Glass Aspherical elements, one Hybrid Aspherical element, one XR (Extra Refractive Index) glass element, and one element of UXR (Ultra-Extra Refractive Index) glass. The lens is priced at Rs. 67,520 for Nikon and Canon, the Sony version is to be announced.
