Sony Launches Cyber-shot RX10 in India
Sony India has launched the RX10. This is a bridge-type camera that has 20.2MP Exmor R image sensor, the same as Sony has used in the RX100 II. The camera is powered by BIONZ X processing engine.
The device features a 24-200mm Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T Lens with an f/2.8 aperture. The lens can focus from distances as close as 3cm. The f/2.8 aperture can be used across the focal length.
The camera features P/A/S/M operating modes and ISO settings up to 12800. It offers connectivity to smartphones using WiFi or NFC.
RX10 can record full HD movies at 60p/24p and images are saved in JPEG and RAW formats. The camera’s 1440k dots LCD screen tilts up and down. The camera’s magnesium alloy body features dust and moisture resistant seams and control seals.
Several accesories can be used with the camera, namely the LCJ-RXE premium jacket case, the ECM-XYST1M stereo microphone, the HVL-F43M external flash and HVL-LEIR1 video IR light.
