As per recent rumours, Sony is all set to launch the RX100 Mark III on 30th April in Europe and the USA and on 1st May in Asia. Previously, a page from the official Sony camera manual had leaked, revealing the fact that Sony are working on the RX100 Mark II successor.

The camera is rumoured to sport a built-in pop-up viewfinder. The lens is also expected to be upgraded to the new and faster 28-100 mm f/1.8-2.8 lens design, which has been patented by Sony. Compared to the current lens of the RX100 Mark II that stops down to f/4.9 at 100 mm, the new lens will provide better low-light capability. These two features alone will be worthy of an upgrade for RX100 Mark II owners.
