Smartphone market is focused on mobile imaging

 

According to the Imaging Trend report provided by the Photographic Industry Association (PIV), smartphones are the key product of digitization, globally. It was reported that approx. 1.5 billion devices were sold by manufacturers last year as imaging innovations create incentives for purchase.

The innovations include dual-cameras with fixed focal lengths, AI, 3D avatars, high-performance image sensors, depth cameras, and almost borderless XXL displays. The report also mentions forecasts growth potential for the upcoming years in mobile imaging.

Along with that, it conveys smartphones are the control centers of everyday life, the growing trend towards 3D avatars enables innovative profits for the younger groups, and the rising relevance of videography data services after switching from 4G to 5G services.
