Sigma Reveals the Latest Addition to its Art Series

Sigma has launched a new lens, the 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art. The lens has 15 elements in 11 groups, two SLD Special-Low Dispersion, one ELD Extra-Low Dispersion, and one FLD Low Dispersion elements. It also incorporates two aspherical elements and high refractive index elements. Its single focus element is driven by a quiet stepping motor.

The minimum focusing distance is 30cm, while the maximum magnification is 0.19x. Its has a 11-bladed round diaphragm, and comes with a physical aperture ring, which can be de-clicked or locked. There is also a dedicated focus mode switch and AFL button. A Super Multi-Layer Coating has been applied to lens elements as well.
