Samsung Launches Galaxy J5 and J7 with Front-Facing LED Flash
Samsung has unveiled two new smartphones, the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7, in China on 19 June 2015. The selfie-centric smatrphones feature a 5MP front-facing camera with a built-in LED flash.
The wide-angle selfie camera in both the J5 and J7 also features a self-timer and a digital face lift function. Both the smartphones are equipped with a 12MP rear camera with autofocus.
The Galaxy J5 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 16GB built-in storage and 1.5GB RAM. It is fitted with a 5-inch 1280 x 720 high resolution display and a 2600mAh battery.
The Galaxy J7 is powered by an octa-core processor and comes with a 3000mAh battery. However, the 5.5-inch display makes this cameraphone different from the J5. Both the smartphones run on Android 5.1 operating system.
Priced at 1798 Yuan (approx. Rs. 18,400) and 1398 Yuan (approx. Rs. 14,300) respectively, the Galaxy J7 and J5 are available online and selected retailers in China only.
