Samsung Announces the Mirrorless NX3000
Samsung announced the interchangeable lens NX3000 yesterday, as the latest addition to its mirrorless camera line up. With a 3″ flip up screen and a feature called the Wink Shot, selfie-lovers can rejoice.
The camera features a 20MP APS-C CMOS sensor, unchanged from its predecessor, the NX2000. It comes in a retro design and the camera will be sold along with their new compact 16–50mm f/3.5-5.6 Power Zoom ED OIS lens and a second kit with a 20–50mm lens. Other features include RAW support, an ISO range of 100 – 25,600, full HD video recording and an external flash.
The only exciting feature about the camera seems to be the flip up screen, targeting the younger camera user who can share their photos via Wi-Fi and NFC. This, and a smaller display size are the major changes from the NX2000. The camera will available for $529 (approx. 32,000) with the 16-50mm PZ lens and flash and $479 (approx. Rs. 29,000) with the 20–50mm lens and flash, although the exact price for India hasn’t been announced yet.
