Rollie Launches New Compact Waterproof Camera, Sportsline 100

Rollie has unveiled their new waterproof and shockproof camera, Sportsline 100. Compact in size, the new Sportsline 100 camera is waterproof up to 10m and shockproof up to 1.5m.

Featuring a 4x optical zoom, 20MP Sony sensor, and 2.7-inch LCD screen, the new Rollie camera offers 28 scene modes, including panorama and macro. According to the company, the Sportsline 100 is capable of shooting videos in 720p HD resolution.

Measuring 10.8 x 6.6 x 5.1cm, the new Rollie camera weighs 162 grams.

Surprisingly, many of Sportsline 100’s features are distinctly similar to the Nikon Coolpix S3200. Both the Sportsline 100 and S3200 have 2.7-inch LCD screens; the Sportsline 100 has a 4x optical zoom and S32 features a 6x optical zoom; and the Rollie camera weighs 165 grams, while Nikon’s S3200 weighs 128 grams. However, the higher resolution can be an additional advantage for the Sportsline 100.

Priced at USD 145 (approx. Rs. 9294), the Sportsline 100 will be available for sale in orange, green and blue colours from 16 June 2015. Availability in India and price are yet to be announced by the company.
