Adding to the bandwagon of strange and unique-looking cameras, Ricoh has announced the Theta M15, the second update to the original, launched last year. What makes the Theta unique is its ability to make 360° images in a single frame. Unlike its predecessor, the M15 now comes with video recording, where one can make movie clips of up to 3 minutes.

The images one makes with the Theta can be viewed on Ricoh’s mobile app or on theta360.com. Additionally, from 14th November 2014, an API and SDK (beta version) will be released on theta360.com site to allow users to develop their own apps and add various capabilities to their Theta camera.

The device will be available from 14th November, and is priced at £269.99 (approx. Rs. 26,700).
