Ricoh Imaging Launches Ricoh GRIII at photokina 2018

photokina 2018 will see the launch of Ricoh GRIII by Ricoh Imaging. The GR III has a 24.24MP APS-C sensor, a step up from the 16.2MP sensor in the GR II. The camera comes with a new optical design with six elements over four groups including two aspherical elements, but it has the same 18.3mm focal length and f/2.8 as its predecessor. Due to the size of the APS-C sensor, the user will experience a focal length equivalent to around 28mm in 35mm terms.

The GRIII is equipped with a three-axis sensor-based Shake Reduction system, a hybrid phase contrast-detect AF setup, and shoots videos in Full HD at 60p. The LCD screen has 1.03million dots. Other features include an AA Filter Simulator, a DR II Dust Removal system, a built-in ND filter, post-capture Raw processing, and a USB Type C port.
