Polaroid Launches Cube+ Featuring WiFi
Polaroid has expanded its Cube lifestyle action camera line with the introduction of Cube+ on 24 June 2015, at the CE Week 2015 in New York City. The new action camera features WiFi connectivity. The company has also unveiled new colours of the recently launched Zip instant photoprinter.
Apart from the key highlight of adding WiFi, the 6MP Cube+ is capable of shooting HD 1080p video. The camera features a 124° wide-angle lens and is splash-resistant up to 2 meters. Other features of the camera include video recording capacity of up to 90 minutes, micro SD card storage up to 32GB, and 35 x 35mm size.
“Compatible with iOS and Android devices via the Polaroid Cube+ app, users can sync the camera with their smartphone or tablet to capture and share their videos and photos instantaneously. The app allows users to control the camera through their mobile device, or use their device as a viewfinder. Additionally, users can edit, save, print and share their videos and photos instantly from their mobile device using the app,” says the company.
The recently launched Polaroid Zip instant photoprinter is now available in blue and red along with the original black and white versions. Using the Zink Zero Ink Printing technology, users can instantly print and share 2 x 3-inch photos from their smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth or NFC.
The Cube+ will be available in August for USD 149.99 (approx. Rs. 9540). Currently available, the instant photoprinter is priced at USD 129.99 (approx. Rs. 8266).
