Pixii’s 12MP Display-less M-mount Rangefinder is Now Available to Order
Pixii is a unique camera that does not feature an LCD screen or a memory card slot. Instead, it comes with a very limited internal space of 32GB. It houses an optical viewfinder that uses the traditional rangefinder design, largely seen in Leica cameras. The rangefinder camera uses M-mount lenses, and is also compatible with a wide range of manual-focus lenses available from Leica, Zeiss, and Voigtlander.
Pixii’s image engine is based on APS-C CMOS sensor, with a pixel size of 5.5 microns. Its ISO ranges between 100—6400. To capture the images, you can choose from Manual and Aperture Priority exposure modes. The images can be saved as RAW(DNG) or JPEGs. The camera is designed using machined aluminium and will be available in three different standard finishes: anodized silver, grey, and matt black lacquer. There will also be a titanium carbon edition available for special order.
