PICTURES Stage by photokina 2018

photokina, will hold several photo exhibitions all across the various squares in Cologne over the course of the entire trade fair. The exhibitors are the winners and participants of competitions for professional and hobby photographers. Canon and  ProfiFoto will exhibit the three winning concepts in the context of their New Talent Award in passage ⅘ which promotes photographic projects such as degree dissertations, semester work or free work.

Meanwhile, the Fujifilm Global Photo Exhibition will present over 10,000 photos from both amateur and professional photographers. Their motto “Celebrate the Everyday” focusses on the importance of daily moments, and consciousness for the haptic image will be raised. From over 27 European countries, photographers will make their photo available via upload to become part of the shoot. Moreover, The Top 100 Photography Award will select the 100 best images by a prominent jury and exhibit in a space of more than 1,000 m².  PICTURES will showcase the life and works of various continents, peoples, and generations from many perspectives.
