Panasonic Lumix GH4 Mirrorless Camera debuts in India

 

Panasonic India has launched the Lumix GH4, its flagship digital single lens mirror (DSLM) camera, in India at Rs. 1,11,990. Coupled with a 12–35mm f/2.8 lens, the Lumix GH4 costs Rs. 1,72,990.

Manish Sharma, Managing Director, Panasonic India said, “We aim to cater to the increasing demand for specialised products, which not only match the global standards but also appeal to the local customers. With GH4, we are bringing 4K technology to India, which has been cherished by many by international clientele.” The Lumix GH4 was globally launched more than a year ago.

Specially designed for shooting 4K videos, the Lumix GH4 can shoot videos at Cinema 4K (4096 x 2160) and UHD 4K (3840 x 2160) resolutions. The camera is equipped with a 16.05MP micro four thirds (MTF) sensor. Featuring a maximum shutterspeed of 1/8000th of a second, the Lumix GH4 comes with a flash sync speed of 1/250th of a second.

Other key features of the GH4 include a continuous shooting speed of 12fps, a live viewfinder with 2359K dot resolution, rear touchscreen LCD with 1036K dot resolution. Measuring 133 x 84 x 93.4mm, the Lumix GH4 weighs 560 grams.

The camera also incorporates WiFi with NFC Technology and in-camera RAW development capability. It is compatible with external flash (DMW-FL580L), stereo/shotgun microphone (DMW-MS2) and battery grip (DMW-BGGH3).
