Panasonic Launches the Lumix G9
The Panasonic Lumix G9 features a 20.3MP CMOS sensor. It has an 80MP high resolution mode, and produces both JPEG and RAW files. It also shoots bursts at 20fps with continuous AF, and 60fps using single AF, both using the camera’s electronic shutter. Amongst its video features, the G9 can record 4K videos at up to 60fps, with a maximum bitrate of 150Mbps. The camera can also shoot slo-mo videos at up to 60fps in 4K and 180fps at Full HD. Moreover, for those primarily focused on creating stills, the G9 can shoot both 6K and 4K pictures.
Coming to its exterior, the G9 comes in a weathersealed metal body. It is freezeproof at up to -10°C. It has a 3-inch fully articulating touchscreen LCD, and an OLED electronic viewfinder with a maximum magnification of 0.83x equivalent and a resolution of 3.68 million dots.
