Oppo Launches Mirror 5, Featuring an 8MP camera

 

Oppo has unveiled its new smartphone, Mirror 5, sporting an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Earlier this month, the company launched Mirror 5s.

The 8MP rear camera in the smartphone features an f/2.2 aperture along with LED flash. The 5 MP front-facing camera is equipped with scene detection, Panorama, geo-tagging, double exposure, smile shot, and HDR options.

Running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Colour OS 2.1 operating system, the smartphone has a 5-inch qHD TFT (540 x 960p) resolution display. Other key features include a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor, an Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB in-built storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card) and a 2420mAh battery.

Measuring 143.4 x 71.2 x 7.65mm, the smartphone weighs 160 grams.

The smartphone is expected to arrive in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Mexico, and the Middle East-North Africa region soon. The company is yet to announce the price of the smartphone.
