Nikon Announces the Super-Telephoto

Nikon 800mm f/5.6 VR Super-Telephoto Lens

Nikon announced the release of its longest AF lens at photokina 2012. The 800mm VR super-photo lens has an aperture of f/5.6 and is fully compatible with all of Nikon’s full frame cameras. Additionally, the lens is resistant to water and dust. While Nikon has not divulged further details about the product, it is said to be launched later next year. Nonetheless, the super-telephoto lens is good news for all the outdoor photographers out there, as it is ideal for sports, wildlife and news-based photography.
