Nauticam Launches Underwater Housing for Canon 5DS and 5DS R
Nauticam has announced the launch of the new underwater camera housing, NA-5DSR, for the Canon EOS 5DS and 5DS R. The underwater camera housing is the improved version of its predecessor, the NA-5DMKIII.
As compared to the NA-5DMKIII, the new camera housing offers less crowded right side by moving the video/still switch to the top of the housing. It also combines the ISO and DOF preview buttons in a tactile rocker.
The new housing features the patent pending multi-controller, which moves the joystick control closer to the right hand. In addition, the housing is equipped with vacuum check electronics. The NA-5DSR includes the new style cam locking tray system and a standard 1/4-inch 20 tripod socket plus two extra sockets for use a tripod for stability underwater.
Other key features include 100 meter depth rating, patented two stage shutter release, precise feel over half/full press, patented Port Locking System, lens release button, rubberised grips and a quick release camera mounting plate.
The camera housing weighs 200 grams.
Priced at USD 3600 (approx. Rs. 2,35,050), the shipping of the NA-5DSR will start from August 2015.
