Miggo Launches New Weather-Resistant Camera Bags

Camera accessories manufacturer Miggo has unveiled its new series of storm-proof camera bags, Agua.

Specially designed to offer quick-drawing of the camera, the quick-adjusting added strap of Agua allows the photographers to carry his camera close to the body in any weather—rain, snow, and sandstorm or even in a dense urban environment.

The company notes that the new Agua camera bags meet the international IPX3 water-resistance standard, ensuring protection from water spraying up to 60º at 10 litres per minute for 5 minutes at a pressure of 80–100kN/m2.

Featuring quick-release buckles, which includes failsafe connection, the Agua’s single strap carries the camera itself. So, when the user draws the camera, it stays connected and offers protection against falling. Also, the photographers can choose to disconnect the camera perfectly.

Agua’s double-layer protection against water and impact includes an outer layer made from waterproof tarpaulin and a padded inner layer of Neoprene and Lycra.

A detachable strap, lens cover pocket and rigid front lens protector are some of the key features of Agua. These bags are well-suited to carry medium DSLRs and Superzoom cameras measuring 15 x 10 x 13.5cm and large DLSRs measuring 18 x 13 x 19cm.

Agua 25, Agua 35 and Agua 45, the three different variants of Agua series, are priced at USD 55 (approx. Rs. 3400), USD 60 (approx. Rs. 3815) and USD 65 (approx. Rs. 4132).

The Agua series will be available for sale in the USA in June itself. However, the price and availability in India are yet to be announced.
