Microsoft Lumia 940 XL Rumoured to be Launched by September 2015
According to rumours, Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system is expected to debut through Lumia 940 XL. The smartphone is said to be launched by September 2015.
The Lumia 940 XL may feature a 2K 1440 x 2560 quad HD screen resolution. As per Digital Trends, the smartphone may be may be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM.
As far as the rear camera is concerned, the Lumia 940 XL may feature a 25MP camera, according to Phone Arena. However, GSM Arena says that the smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 20MP rear-facing camera.
Other camera features are said to be Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilisation, autofocus, dual-LED flash, 1/2.5-inch sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size, PureView technology, dual capture, geo-tagging, face detection and panorama. According to GSM Arena, the Lumia 940 XL may offer ability to shoot 4K videos of 2160p at 30fps or 1080p at 30fps.
The smartphone is believed to have a microUSB v2.0, wireless charging and 3300mAh Li-Ion battery.
