Meizu Unveils M2, Featuring a 13MP Camera
Meizu has launched a new smartphone, M2, which features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The 13MP rear camera is equipped with an f/2.2 aperture, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective lens glass and LED flash. In addition, the 5MP front-facing camera features an f/2 aperture, FotoNation 2.0 smart selfie enhancement and Face AE face light boost functionality.
The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Other key features include a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280p) resolution display covered by AGC Dragontrail protective glass with pixel density of 296ppi, a 1.3GHz 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, Mali T720 GPU, 2GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16GB inbuilt eMMC 5.0 storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), and a 2500mAh battery. Measuring 68.9 x 8.7 x 140.1mm, the cameraphone weighs 131 grams.
Initially launched in China, the Meizu M2 is priced at 599 yuan (approx. Rs. 6,200).
