Leica Introduces new 24MP Leica Q Compact Camera
Leica Camera has unveiled the Leica Q with a 24MP full-frame CMOS sensor and a fixed 28mm f/1.7 Summilux lens. The camera can capture images at ISO settings up to 50,000.
The company claims that the Q offers the fastest autofocus in its class. Other features of the Q include a 3-inch 1.04 million dot touchscreen LCD, an integrated viewfinder with a resolution of 3.68MP, a focal length of 28mm at full resolution that offers the equivalent of shooting with 35mm and 50mm lenses, and built-in WiFi. However, there is no built-in flash in the camera, but it is comes with a standard hot shoe.
On the video front, the camera is capable of shooting videos at 1080p with 30fps and 60fps in MP4 format. Measuring 130 x 80 x 93mm, the Leica Q weighs 640 grams.
Priced at USD 4250 (approx. Rs. 2,72,087), the camera is available for sale at authorised Leica dealers.
