Iyarkai Revels a Grant for Conservation and Photography


The Iyarkai grant is for young and emerging photographers identifying as females. The grant is in honour of the wildlife photographer, Sajini Ramesh, a Chennai-based photographer who pursued wildlife photography.

The winner will be bestowed with Rs. 2 lakh. The amount will be paid to applicants in installments of twenty-five percent every quarter. Those who work on wildlife, vegetation, land, ecology, natural resource management, ecotourism, climate crisis, and related social issues project can apply.

The applicant must be a resident of India. There is no age restriction, although preference will be given to grant requests from young and emerging photographers. Moreover, the photographer retains full copyright to the work produced. The applications will be judged on the value of the project to conservation, the soundness of the project proposal, and the artistic and technical ability of the photographer.
