IIP to Host an All India Bike Trip
The IIP Foundation, a Delhi-based photo organisation, is conducting a bike trip around the country to encourage professional photography as a career. Titled as, India Seek Raha Hai Photography, the trip is a long-term vision of Rajesh Goyal, founder and trustee of IIP. The foundation has appointed one of its alumni, Ashok Kumar to conduct this rally from 26 April-17 May. IIP is well known for introducing courses for organised photography in India, which caters to students from over 36 countries. It also introduced the concept of photo tourism in India in 2010.
Kumar will be riding across India, where he will be meeting photographers from several cities. IIP’s main aim is to give photography enthusiasts, a chance to further explore the medium, and later pursue it professionally. He will also carry a card that says, ‘I want to become a photographer’. Every aspirant, who meets Kumar on this journey, will also be given a one-month online Professional Photography course by IIP. The entire activity will be posted and published in various digital and print platforms and the activity will carry the Hashtag of #IndiaSeekhRahaHai #IIPPhotography.
