Fujifilm Announced the Much-Awaited X-T3


The Fujifilm X-T3 features a new 26.1MP BSI X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor that has the ability to shoot at up to 30fps, and record 4K 60p video with 10-bit 4:2:2 output to an external recorder. It has an ISO range of 160-12,800 (expandable to 80-51,200); a 0.5-inch 3.69 million dot OLED colour viewfinder with a 0.75x magnification, a wide angle of view (diagonal 38o and horizontal 30o), a display time lag of just 0.005 seconds, and a 100fps refresh rate when the camera is in the ‘boost mode’.

The camera can also record F-log footage with HLG support that will be available later in the year. There’s also a 3-inch 1.04 million dot touchscreen TFT LCD, and 16 Film Simulation modes. The camera’s AF system has been enhanced too, with 2.1 million phase detection pixels that provide nearly 100% coverage. The body, made up of magnesium alloy, is weathersealed, and contains sockets for a mic and headphones. The camera which is available in two colours, black and silver, is priced at Rs. 1,17,999 for the body alone, and Rs. 1,49,999 along with the XF18–55mm R f/2.8-4 OIS lens.
