Cascable Launches WiFi-Enabled Camera Remote Control for iPhone and iPad

 

Cascable has introduced an iOS app for remote-controlling WiFi-enabled DSLR cameras. Available via the Apple App Store, the Cascable allows iPhone and iPad users to capture images using their Apple devices as a remote control. Also, the app extends shutter control to the Apple watch.

According to the company, currently, the app is compatible to Canon EOS cameras only. The company will soon expand its compatibility to other WiFi-enabled DSLR cameras.

Other key features of the app include control over exposure settings, timer and autofocus. The app enables photographers to import and share images from the camera. In addition, images can be downloaded in full resolution in batches or individually. Cascable support RAW image transfer.

The new app is available at USD 19.99 (approx. Rs. 1272).
