Canon Unveils the imageprograf PRO-300 Inkjet Printer

Canon’s new imageprograf PRO-300 has been designed as a small footprint inkjet printer that uses the 9-color LUCIA PRO plus Chroma Optimiser ink, including a new matte black ink for better black density. 13″ x 19″ prints with borders take approximately four minutes and fifteen seconds to print. There’s also a 3-inch LCD display that notifies ink levels and printer status. Canon also announced its Premium Fine Art Rough paper to use along with the imageprograf PRO-300. The paper will be available in the following sizes–17″ x 22″, 13″ x 19″ and Letter sized, within a pack of twenty-five sheets. “To help express the depth of an image and add a three-dimensional touch, the new paper consists of a rough texture. The cotton used to create the paper provides a luxurious touch and makes it suitable for long-term storage,” states the press release by Canon.
