Asus India has launched a new series of smartphones, and the first to feature in the series is the ZenFone Max. The dual-sim phone features a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash. The front camera features a 5MP resolution. The phone features a 5.5inch HD IPS display and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The ZenFone Max is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage.

The highlight of the phone, however, is the 5000mAh battery, which the company claims will allow the phone to be used as a power bank for other devices. The battery of the phone cannot be removed, and the company says that the phone can deliver a standby time of up to 914 hours and up to 38 hours of talk time.

The ZenFone Max is priced at Rs. 9999 and is available for pre-order on Amazon India and Flipkart.
