Adobe Releases Lightroom Mobile 1.2 for Android Users


Adobe has announced the availability of the Lightroom Mobile 1.2 version for Android-based smartphones and tablets.

The updated version allows users to copy and paste adjustments from one photo to another, and it feature a more sophisticated tool for cropping and straightening images. In addition, the Lightroom Mobile 1.2 version supports RAW image files captured from Panasonic CM1.

According to the company, the new version includes fixes for bugs such as the screen of the device occasionally going blank after changing the orientation from landscape to portrait; crashing of the app when the sign-in button is tapped; crashes that occurred when scrolling through a large collection; slow speed of swiping from image to image, etc.

Creative Cloud account users can sync Smart Previews and can change between Lightroom desktop and Lightroom mobile. In addition, Lightroom for Android is designed to work together seamlessly with Lightroom CC on the desktop.

In order to run the new version, the Android-based system requires a 1.7 GHZ ARMv7 quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM and an 8GB of internal storage. The new version can be downloaded from the Google Play store.
