Adobe Releases Camera Raw Version 9.1.1 for Photoshop CS6
Adobe has announced the release of its Adobe Camera Raw version 9.1.1 for Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC. This is the last update for Photoshop CS6.
The new update adds support for the Canon PowerShot G3 X, the Casio EX-100F and EX-ZR3000, the Leica Q, the Olympus AIR-A01, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX8 and FZ300/FZ330, the Pentax K-3 II (with certain limitations), the Phase One IQ3 50MP, 60MP and 80MP, the Ricoh GR II, and the Sony A7R II, RX10 II and RX100 IV.
Also, the new version 9.1.1 features 16 new lens profiles for various Sigma, Zeiss, Zhongyi and Lensbaby optics and a number of bug fixes.
Earlier, the company announced that this will be the final update for the Photoshop CS6 users. However, users who wish to continue receiving the latest updates will need to upgrade to a monthly or yearly Creative Cloud subscription.
In addition, the Photoshop CS6 users can download Adobe’s DNG Converter Utility to convert raw data into the Digital Negative imaging format. A free download of DNG Converter for Windows and OS X users is available on the company’s website.
