Winner to drive away a Mercedes-Benz car for one year

Themes

To take part just send in your best photographs (up to four) for any of the following themes:

The Car in the Urbanscape :

Let this be as much a celebration of your city, as it is of your vehicle, zipping through it. A car posed, perhaps, in front of the most recognisable spot of your city, or simply its movement, as it goes through the highways and flyovers, nooks and corners. Remember to show off the city as much as you show the vehicle within its surroundings!

Nightlife :

There's no feeling like going out for a spin in the night and that's what we want to see... Let the city comes alive in your car pictures, with neon lights, warm street lamps and colourful light trails on offer. Experiment with slow shutterspeeds, creative blurs and crazy colours!

Views from inside the car :

Whether you are in the passenger seat or in the backseat, the world outside is full of interesting sights. Let your car be a window to this world, with the windshield, window or door being a frame around the most captivating stories that you see outside.

Traffic blues :

Can you make pictures out of the most boring, yet inevitable time that we spend on the road? Can you figure out how to make clusters of cars look exciting? Or maybe spot that one unique moment at a signal or a crossing that makes you stop?

City Diaries (Photo Essay)

While all the other themes need you to convey the story and emotions in one single shot, this one is where you build up the narrative, frame by frame. Use 6 to 12 photos to tell a story of your city, of travelling within it, of what your car and city life mean to you, and of the joy of the journey.

Video

Video filmmakers can submit their entries by shooting any cars as an important aspect of the story or production. The film should be a minimum of 30 seconds and a maximum of 5 minutes long. Participants can be as creative as they wish.
