What’s with my Lens?


My zoom lens has always given me great results. But after buying a new camera, it suddenly seems soft. Why is it giving bad results on a newer piece of technology?

Explore the AF Fine Tune option, it may help. Also, if your new camera is of higher resolution, it could simply be that it is highlighting the flaws that an older camera could not identify. The downside of using more megapixels is that they are rarely forgiving, and need good optics.
