“I was mesmerised and captivated by the neverending archways inside the fort.”

I had the opportunity of photographing the Amber Fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The cool blue tones and the play of light and shadow, rendered a slight futuristic look to the interior of the fort. Additionally, the several humongous archways create a beautiful sense of mystery, more so with the subject in the far left section of the image.

Conveying the Story of the Structure

Experiment with light and shadow to bring out the monument’s important qualities. Also, remember that the most beautiful features of a building are best shot in isolation.
