Blurry Even With Flash

When I shoot with my cameraphone flash in low light, why is it that I rarely get the image in focus?

What may be happening here is that your cameraphone is fooled into thinking that focus has been achieved. On the other hand, it could have focused behind your subject. Basically, you need to be careful about where you tap to focus. Tapping on the area where there is light will capture clear pictures. Another solution is to have another cellphone or torch and shine a light on the subject, to help the cameraphone focus. You could also use a camera’s AF assist light, if available.
