The Competition: UNESCO invites photographers from the six UNESCO Cluster countries, namely, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka to submit their work. Photographers are encouraged to get creative and participate in this contest, contributing to UNESCO’s #Science4Sustainability social campaign.

Theme: Science for Sustainable Future

Categories: Science in everyday life, Science for Peace and Development, Biodiversity, Natural Heritage and Wildlife, Water and Life, Climate Change.

Prize: The 1st prize winner will receive USD 500 (approx. Rs.33,725), the second prize winner will receive USD 300 (approx. Rs.20235) and the second runner-up will receive USD 200 (approx. Rs.13490). There is also a special prize of USD 200 (approx. Rs.13490) for the most popular photo on social media. The winners’ photographs will also be exhibited  at the UNESCO New Delhi office.
