The photographs portray the various aspects of state, including its culture, festivals, people, wildlife, and architecture. The exhibition will be integrated by Padma Vibhushan Sharad Pawar, Member of the Parliament, while the Chief Guest is Vijay Darda, Chairman of Lokmat Group & ex Member of the Parliament. Moreover, Padma Shri Sudharak Olwe will be felicitated during the event.

Speaking about the exhibition, Raghu Rai said, “Maharashtra’s cultural heritage reflects power and expression of centuries gone by—yet retained—preserved and lived by millions of proud carriers of the tradition. As we all know, everything has its origin. It is the responsibility of the present generation to capture and carry it through for the next generations to know who we were and where we come from. And so, Gajanan Dudhalkar’s curation reflects a rainbow of saturated colours and expressions flowing through these images.”

The exhibit will take place from 30 April to 8 May at the Piramal Art Gallery.
