With a unique viewfinding system, aptly called Eagle Eye, that allows the user to track and pinpoint focus using a laser reticule guide on a viewfinding window, the latest Olympus Stylus SP-100EE is one of the most exciting viewfinder innovations we have seen lately.

In this video, Kazu Fukuda, Senior Supervisor, Asia Group, Olympus, explains how this innovative new technology works. Apart from being the first camera to sport this technology, this camera also has a large 50x zoom. One can hope for this unique viewfinding innovation to see its use in other advanced compact and mirrorless cameras as well.
