IdeasTap and Magnum Photographic Award 2014

The Competition: IdeasTap, an arts charity for encouraging and developing young and creative people at the beginning of their careers, has teamed up with Magnum to present the IdeasTap and Magnum Photographic Award 2014. Now in its fourth year, the main aim of the foundation is to identify, showcase and celebrate documentary photographers. Now for the first time, it has opened itself to photographers from all over the world.

Category: There are three categories that photographers can apply to.
IdeaTaps Photographic Award 2014: UK-based 16-25 year olds.
IdeaTaps Photographic Award 2014: UK-based 2+
IdeaTaps Photographic Award 2014: International 16+

Prize: All the three winners from the categories will each receive 5000 pounds (approx. Rs. 5,00,080) in prize money along with 1500 pounds (approx. Rs. 150,120) in project funding. In addition to this, each winner will be mentored by a Magnum photographer.
