‘Conversations in Colour around Raghubir Singh with Ram Rahman, Ketaki Sheth, Sooni Taraporevala’ is an exhibition as well as an evening conversation, jointly organised by Jnanapravaha (Mumbai) and Jhaveri Contemporary. The evening conversation will be moderated by Shanay Jhaveri. The exhibition will be the first presentation of the Late Raghubir Singh’s retrospective at Delhi and Bombay’s NGMA. Singh’s images from 1967 to his well-known series on the Ambassador car will be displayed at the exhibition. During the evening conversation Rahman, Sheth and Taraporevala will reflect on Singh’s practice, his legacy, and on the trajectory of photography in India. Singh is known for his pioneering use of colour in the 1970s and 1980s.
