Stones & Stories
Photographer Amar Ramesh tells the timeless story of  Kailasanathar Temple, built on the banks of the Vegavathy River in Kanchipuram, in this exhibition.

Heavenly Bodies—A Photo Diary
C P Satyajit’s photographs which explore the uniqueness of the human body will be exhibited during Chennai Photo Biennale.

Beyonder
Sudarshan Chari explores the realm beyond the perception of the human eye.

In Dreams
In his series In Dreams, Madhavan Palanisamy takes you inside the rabbit hole where interesting and bizarre things happen. The series explores the space inside our subconscious where dreams are born, filled with strange experiences and whimsical stories with photography, writing and film work.

PhotoConcierge Presents Urban Water
Under the guidance of mentors Munem Wasif and Ravi Agarwal, 15 photographers have created bodies of work surrounding the issues of water in Chennai. The participants in the project were Anshika Varma, Arun M, Arun Vijai Mathavan, Balaji Maheshwar, Dhruv Dhakan, Gayatri Ganju, Jordi Pizzaro, Kannagi Khanna, Karen Dias, Nikhil Roshan, Ronny Sen, Sathish Kumar, Sebastian Forkarth, Swastik Pal and Zishaan Akbar.

Selected Works from Delhi Photo Festival
A curated selection of works from Delhi Photo Festival 2015 will be showcased during Chennai Photo Biennale. Works from legends like Kishor Parekh and Raghu Rai as well as emerging international photographers like Olivier Culman and Daniella Zalcman will also be exhibited.

The Last Breath of the Prince
During his three year scholarship with the Indonesian Institute of Arts in Yogyakarta, Spanish documentary photographer Diego Zapatero covered and reconstructed the complete set of characters, costumes and poses of an ancient Panji play, true to the old style of portrait photography.

Apparao Galleries
Photographs by Bhupendra Karia, Gautam Bhatia, George K and Navroze Contractor will be exhibited.

Surrealistic by Nature
Curated by Yannick Cormier, the exhibition explores the blurring of reality and poetry through the eyes of internationally renowned photographers. Some of the photographers whose works will be displayed in the exhibition are Cristina De Middel, Suresh Punjabi, Piotr Zbierski and Zhang Xiao.

A Plague o’ Both Your Houses
Olya Morvan’s photographs from the recent pro-Russian unrest in Ukraine shows the human side of the conflict.

Alter Vision
The body of works presented in this exhibition engages with issues around contemporary culture, specifically on identity and privacy. The photographers who are part of this exhibit are Harsha Biswajit, Maximus Clarke, Rachel Rampleman and Ronny Sen.

Behind the Landscape
The exhibition features the works of photographer Miguel Angel Garcia

The Indian Dog Show Project
Karan Vaid explores the unique sub culture of the Indian dog show participants.

Lensational
Lensational is a non-profit social enterprise that aims to empower marginalised women in developing countries through equipping them with cameras and photography training. Small groups of girls from two NGOs in Chennai were taught the basics of photography and were taken to different locations to shoot on different days. Their selected works are being showcased here.

The Tasveer Journal
As part its 10th anniversary, Tasveer presents a special publication of a selection of portfolios previously featured in the Tasveer Journal, in the last four years. The exhibition features the works of 21 artists, including Anna Fox, Aparna Jayakumar, Manjari Sharma, Ryan Lobo and Soumya Sankar Bose.

Remembering Chandralekha
Curated by Sadanand Menon, this is a large-format open-air exhibition spanning 20 years of the legendary dancer Chandralekha’s choreographic work.
