Canon Announces Full-Frame Wi-Fi EOS 6D
Canon has unveiled its new full-frame DSLR, the EOS 6D. A similar size and weight to the EOS 60D, the company claims that the camera is the world’s lightest DSLR to feature a full-frame CMOS sensor. Additionally, for the first time in any EOS model, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity are included in the camera.
The 20.2MP camera uses a newly-developed sensor and features an 11-point autofocus system with a single cross-type sensor. Canon says it will focus in lower light than any of its previous cameras. It uses its large sensor to offer a native ISO range of 100–25,600, expandable to 50–102,400.Tags: 11-point autofocus, canon camera, canon eos 6d, full frame, GPS, lightweight camera, photokina 2012, wi-fi
