Urban Photo Awards is Back for its 13th Edition

Urban Photo Awards 2022 is now accepting entries. This year, the contest has introduced a Free Photo promo, where participants can submit one photo for free. Organised by dotART, a Trieste (Italy) based cultural association, the total prize value of the contest is 16,000 euros (approx. Rs. 13,21,395).

For this edition, the illustrious jury will be headed by Nino Migliori and Susan Meiselas. The other esteemed members include Jérôme Sessini, Nick Turpin, Gali Tibbon, Alexandra Sophie and Sonia Jeunet, amongst others.

The main theme of the contest is street photography. However, it has been divided into three categories—Single Photos, Projects & Portfolio, and Urban Book Award. Single Photos is further sub-categorised into four themes—Streets, People, Spaces, and Creative. Spaces have one category called New Buildings sponsored by Matrix4Design.
