Urban Photo Awards 2021 is Open for Submissions
Urban Photo Awards 2021 has announced their twelfth edition of the contest. Over the years, the awards have established themselves as one of the popular competitions that is open to both professional and amateur photographs. Organised by dotART, an Italy-based cultural association, the total prize value of the contest is over 23,000 euros (approx. Rs. 19,89,377).
This year, the eminent jury will be headed by Magnum photographer Bruce Gilden. The other esteemed members include Tatsuo Suzuki, Nick Turpin, Gulnara Samoilova, Laura Carlini Fanfogna, and Chief Editor of Better Photography, K Madhavan Pillai, amongst others.
The main theme of the contest is street photography, which is divided into three categories—Single Photos, Projects & Portfolio, and Urban Book Award. Single Photos is further divided into five themes—Streets, People, Spaces, Creative, and the Bruce Gilden Special Award.
